Summary of what was wrong and what fixed it:

  • Ubuntu 24.04’s AppArmor hardening blocks unprivileged sandboxes (bwrap) by default, but the bubblewrap package ships no profile to exempt itself — so Nautilus’s sandboxed thumbnailer silently failed and cached that failure permanently.
  • Adding /etc/apparmor.d/bwrap with a userns allow-rule (loaded via apparmor_parser -r) let bwrap work again.
  • Clearing ~/.cache/thumbnails/fail and reopening the folder let Nautilus regenerate thumbnails successfully.

เรื่องวุ่นๆ เกิดจากเราไปเอาคอมเก่าปี 2018 มาใช้ ละวันนี้ อยู่ดีๆมันก็ shutdown ตัวเอง ปัญหาเกิดจาก cpu ไม่ระบายความร้อน อุณหภูมิขึ้นไป 98องศาก่อนเครื่องจะดับ (พึ่งเปิดได้แปปเดียว)

ก็เลยต้องหาคอมใหม่มาแทน ละอาจารย์matsuokaที่เกษียณออกไป แกทิ้ง minipc ไว้หลายเครื่องมาก clean ubutu ละด้วย แต่ไม่รู้ password

ส่วนตัวมี usb install 22.04 จะลงใหม่ดีมั้ย …. แต่พอดีว่าเป็น ubuntu 24.04 ไหนๆก็ไหนๆ อยากลองใช้ดูหน่อย ละน้องในแลปบอกว่า มันมีวิธีreset password อยู่ ส่งlink chatgpt ภาษาญี่ปุ่นมาให้ คือเข้าไปทำใน recovery mode

เราก็เลยไปถาม claude ต่อ ขั้นตอนคือเราต้อง boot เข้าหน้า grub menu ให้ได้ก่อน กด shift/esc

แต่ทำยังไงก็ไม่มี grub menu โผล่มา ได้ไปอยู่ใน grub> แทน

ลืมอ่าน Some manufacturers use F2, F8, F10, F12, or Del during POST to get a boot menu — that’s different from GRUB, but from there you can sometimes select a “Recovery” option

ปัญหาคือคอมเครื่องนี้ไม่ได้ใช้ sda มันใช้ nvme ต่างหากก งุงิ น่าชะเช็คก่อนตอน อยู่ใน ubuntu
